During a tank closure performed at an un-registered facility in downtown Jacksonville, in December 2003, Earth Systems removed petroleum impacted soil in the vadose and smear zone in conjunction with the removal of two USTs. Soil samples were collected on 5 to 10-foot centers and at 2-foot depth intervals during the source removal.
